So they said $429 for the 390x. That'd be ~£350 with VAT and price-gouge and they gave jack **** on actual performance and benchmarks. We don't even know whether its actually a rebrand or not. Poor show AMD. At least tell me if the 390x is better than a 970 or not.

Get a grip, this is how Nvidia and AMD, Apple and every other company 'launches' hardware.

Why do expectations change ONLY for AMD? Read an anandtech review for Titan X, 980, 780ti, whatever else, read the details and tell me which launch event these details were given at or where major architecture features and how they worked were talked about.

Launches are just that, someone picks up a card and goes "wooo, look, it's a card.... detailed information to follow later". This has ALWAYS been how it's done, it's how Titan X was launched with next to no info.

It's a bunch of people in a room most with little technical knowledge, it's not about exploring architectural details, core sizes, etc. These events have never been about that.

Totally agree. I think some people just need things to moan about, are probably just waiting for something to scoff at. Only reason they are watching..

Good presentation so far, Fury X won't be to long guys. Chill :D
