When you set XMP in the BIOS, what does the speed report as? (In the BIOS)

1600mhz without cpu overclockin. And 18xx with overclocking at 4.4ghz. Doesn't make any sense to me lol

is the bclk set to 100? if not it will add extra to the bclk = higher ram speed

it will run at 2400mhz I just don't know enough on haswell to set it up

set VCCIN voltage to 1.86-1.9, VRING voltage 1.25v, SA voltage to 0.200v , IOA 0.200v, IOD0.200v

last I looked it was set to 100 as that's how I overclocked the cpu but i'll check tonight. thanks again for the continued help

I suspect its the CPU overclock...

I have had the same problem when not overclocked as I did initially try just to set the ram up without oc the cpu but then I found that the xmp increases when I overclock so just kept the oc from then on lol

So you were experiencing the same crashes even with the CPU at stock?

It could be something with you cpu voltage
