-possible spoilers- anyone watching the boro match?

Even if the boro had got knocked out tonight, reaching the semifinal is an achievement the toon could only get to (iirc) and not beyond. I'm a newcastle fan but would love to see boro win the final. I respect boro. Can't say the same for Sunderland however :D

Well played 'boro again!

yeah we got to the semis a few seasons ago, and the FA cup finals twice

we did have to play chelski this year in FA cup though

if you look at results since roeder took over at the toon we would be 2nd in the table if it was the start of the season, im going completly off topic here so ignore me

am big boro fan (could not go tonight ) but what another" bloody great game" why do we keep doing this , why not in the prem?this season has not gone tooo well for us(prem)

come on the boro!

Great post.
Is the irony of you and another three or four Boro fans from this forum not being there a little lost on you?

Well played , you deserved to go through.

I'm grinning like the Cheshire cat.

Fantastic result. My legs are ****** thou as well as my throat. But it was all worth it in the end. Still in shock; to come back from 3-0 down once against Basel is one thing to do it three weeks later again is unreal. Those two games are probably worth the £1000+ I've spend watching them this year. And now I've got a Final to go too; thank God I've already got tickets for it!

Also, I have to admit the whole Geordies at home song is becoming a bit tiresome like the EASY chant. We have a decent amount of songs as it is but I feel those tunes are getting forgotten. Can't remember the last time I heard a decent "We shell Overcome" song going at the Riverside; if ever.

Watch your language.

Too late :p

Spent ages tonight trying to find a place to watch the game, half the pubs didn't have it on, there was no remote for the community TV, and I don't have Sky. Brilliant game to watch, pub was bouncing for every Boro goal, it was great.

Barca and Boro for the super cup :p

Where's the problem? There's no irony in a fan of a club from their local area not going to a match & watching it on the telly then being happy at the result as far as I can see.

It was a frieldly jibe, hence the smiley. Jesus, all my family are Geordies, even I was born in Gateshead!

If you're upset about the performance of your team, take it out on them on the terraces, not members on an internet forum ;) <----- see, another smiley.

Congratulations to Boro. I want ALL English sides to succeed in Europe, so I'm pleased you guys are through. Just make sure you go on and win it.

Not a boro fan (spurs man) but that has to be one of the most exciting games i've seen this year, i hope they win the finals now. I was litterly jumping up and down off my seat all game.
