I'm guessing it's not but I thought I'd ask anyway. Can a partitions size be made smaller once being used and the space released place into another existing partition to make it larger without having to delete the partitions and start again? Would software like Partition Magic be able to do this?

Basically, when I installed Windows I set my storage partition as 100GB. I didn't release I'd need the space but my music collection has grown substantially and more space would be needed. I have a 1TB setting 900GB or so to the primary partition was kind of stupid. :/

Yes this is defintely possible done it myself on lots of occasions. Can take hours thou! You have to reduce the size of the first partition then sometimes move the second partion into the space created and then enlarge that partition ssome software misses out the move stage.

Partition Magic should do it plus a few others such as Acronis Disk Director
