A simple question, if I upgrade from a standard HD to a raptor, is it possible to just use some imaging software to beable to just unplug the first drive, and the new raptor will boot windows and be fine as the old one was?
Just to expand slightly on the above answer, Windows will not see the drive any differently for the purposes of booting whether it is Seagate to Raptor or whatever. Once into Windows it might be recognised as a different drive but that would be about it.
