Possible to run a website from a NAS drive

As title says really - is it possible to run a website from a nas drive? if it is then what features does the nas drive need to have?

Some of them do, just need the ability to run a website so look for things like apache support etc.

The synology DS-107 says "Website Publication with PHP+MySQL Support" Would that work?

I would say so yes if it supports PHP, it must run a webserver.

I've got a QNAP TS-201, and whilst I've not set it up, it has the ability to run as a Web/FTP server.

its run of my DS-106 and uses php. You can even integrate mysql databases for stuff like drupal / joomla if you want
