Possible Upgrade Plans... advice needed please

I don't play that many games, so I am not too fussed about performance. Is there much difference in going from 22" to 24"?

I think so, in my experience anyway. It may do resolusion wise aswell.

I'd go for 24" as long as it fits within your budget. if it doesn't 22" will be fine.

Im just wondering, if you don't play games a lot, do you need a GTX 570? It is that you only play a select few games? or do you want the graphics card to run different programs?

I just want that card so it can play the latest games if need be, but I have no real purpose for it.

In terms of hard drives, I have always been worried about losing one of the drives... would a RAID 5 setup be recommended?

All ordered, apart from the possible RAID card and monitors. I will try the onboard RAID first and then decide whether I want to spend an extra £150 on the parity drive and £250 on the RAID card.

Spent £1500 :o

Currently overclocked to 4.8GHz and under full load for a good 15 minutes the highest it reaches is 80 degrees. I think I will drop it down to 4.6GHz because 200MHz isn't really going to make a difference to me but it will to the temperatures.

I thought I had turned off all the settings which prevent the CPU from lowering its speed when idle, but it is still doing it :(
