i have a dell 420xps with a 8800gt card what card will i be able to upgrade too that will fit in the case and run off the 375w psu.

Any PCI-E card should fit in there no problem. Your PSU is the problem though, what make is it (If any, being a generic dell) and what amps does it supply on the 12v rail, either single or double.

Tbh your just about getting away with 375w at the moment with a 8800 and the rest of your system. If you upgrade your GFX card to anything worthwhile, e.g. 4870, you will need a new PSU, pending the specs.

Seconded, Your PSU will be your limiting factor. Especially if it's a generic unit.

I'd get a new PSU before you consider upgrading that 8800gt

ive had this pc over a year now and it still plays everything fine and never crashed once (touchwood) im not sure if its just a case of fitting a new psu as the dell case will not fit a standard psu are somthing i read it somwhere. plus my screen will only go upto 1360-768 res so is it worth even upgrading at that res.
