Possible watercooling setup

Looking at possibly putting a watercooling loop together towards the end of the year

Specced one up minus a gpu block as there currently unavailable for the G1 980ti but due in a couple of months I hear.

I'm guessing the gpu block will be around £85-£100, so budget is around £500

Kit is going into a Corsair 650D case hence why there's not a second 240mm rad going in.

That's quite a lot to cool on just 360 of rad esp if you are over locking your 980ti. And you aren't even bothering with fans!

I've got plenty of fans already so haven't listed them.
I'll be using Alaska Piranhas FYI.

A while ago I cooled the same cpu & a 290 gpu on 360mm of rads & they were fine. This was on AIO's however but the principal is the same.

Quick update, having done a bit of measuring I can actually get another 240mm rad in the front of the case. It's a tight squeeze but doable.

Also I think a 280mm rad will fit in the roof of the case giving a total of 520mm of radiator.
You think that is enough cooling capacity?

Yeah should be fine. You can never have enough rad so fit the max you can IMO

Even if its not needed it means you might get away with very slow fans or even passive when browsing. My old rig of i7-950 with 7970 could run passive.
