I have built a couple of PCs in the past helped by information from these boards ![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/smile.gif)
What I have never done though is actually upgraded to much extent other than cooler/gfx/memory.
I have en old E6600 running at 3.2 and was thinking of upgrading to an I5. It's been a cracking chip but I think the time has come. I would need I guess a new chip/mobo/memory/cooler but the real question is it as simple as that?
Can I just pull out those bits and pop the new ones in or are there unforseen nightmares awaiting me?
