Possibly the coolest program I have ever seen!

Remarkable. My first thought was that the program must use an enormous amount of resources, but someone posts a link on that page to a beta, where apparently it will run with a recommended 1gb of RAM and a half decent DX9 graphics card.

That site is great, by the way. Ray Kurzweil's talk on exponential growth of technology is mind boggling. He predicts reverse engineering of the human brain by the 2020's amongst many other things.

Thats some good stuff, but a rather strange way of doing it. The main scene is good, but some of the others are hard to get your head round.

That Photosynth isn't a secret but I haven't seen anything close to it in all the time I have known about it. Makes you wonder what secret government labs are working on, given the resources they would have.

*puts down name on waiting list for a star ship*

Saw this on BBC Click! on tv a while ago now, it's really cool. Just goes to show what is in the realms of software design that we as the general public have no idea about. Amazing stuff.
