I lived up there for a couple years and in the Spinny for a couple of weeks when flat hunting. Then I moved back "home". Miss the nice scenery up that way.

So it's a 4hour round trip for a good stalk

On the right hand side of the picture on a nice day, you can see Blackpool tower in all it's rusty glory (26 miles away)

When I was looking to buy a place, I looked in the Loughton/Hainault/Chigwell area. Down that neck of the woods there is a lot of country side. As you head further east, into Essex proper, I imagine it gets even more countrified. So it makes sense.

One day, in my later years, I might look to move there and have a big garden like yours.
