So how did you come to that decision ? :D

Ah well I'll actually agree with you here. The rules around here regarding Chav's would appear to be:

  • if you wear lyle and scott or fred perry etc you're a chav
  • if you're young and appear to get drunk you're a chav
  • if you go on a fancy dress night out you're a chav
  • if you're under 25 but don't wear oversized rock t-shirts you're a chav
  • if you attempt to enjoy uni you're a chav

Obviously there are a lot of exceptions but for some reason a lot of people buy into the whole OMG IT'S A CHAV HE'S DRUNK AND ISN'T WEARING A SLAYER T-SHIRT!!!!!!!!!!!

Why should I stop being me! why don't you lot stop with the "i'd hit her posts"
we get it your straight

Because when sara* posts a picture of herself, I dont respond with "yeah baby i'd love to dip my sack in your mouth", which is wholly innapropriate. Your posts are the same. Just because it's a guy who is the recipient, doesn't make it any less uncomfortable for him.

And no, i'm not anti-gay or a homophobe, I couldnt give half a hoot.. which is exactly why i'm advocating that the situation be treated exactly as if it were a guy talking to a girl.

*random female member, couldnt think of others off teh top of my head.

well thankfully I couldnt care less what you think.

Dampcat has a point, there is a world of difference to saying someones partner is hot and "I'd tap that" than actually saying it to the person themselves. I might say "I'd do her her" to my mate for example, but it would be hugely inappropiate to say it to Her personally. Or Him if you are that way inclined.

well I was only joking anyway because he's not my type :P But I shall try not to be so fulgar in the future !

But I still don't agree with this "Yeah we get it. You're gay. Nobody cares. Stop with the "IM GAY" posts."

I'm not making "gay posts" to broadcast my gayness.

well thankfully I couldnt care less what you think.

Unfortunately it's a public discussion forum, so you'll have to deal with me airing my opinion. Being gay is not a licence to be inappropriate.

Honestly, i'm not being cliche when i say your homosexuality really isn't an issue for me. It isn't. I have an incredibly open mind about a lot of things, and i'm certainly not one to judge anyone. Although admittedly i do judge Chavs.

I just dont agree that there's any need to draw such obvious attention to it. Being gay hasn't been shocking since the 60's, so there isn't any more need to say "hey Thorpy, you're kinda attractive. nice", or something equally as flattering. "I want to sit on your face" or other variations just really isn't appropriate, especially on a family forum, for any sexuality.
