I slept in my own sick once due to being too lazy to get up and clean it :) was all over my PC as well :(

done the same minus PC, wasn't drink related though (i don't drink)

had heat stroke after spending the day hiking in the middle of the summer, got home, felt ill, went to loo, to chuck up, threw up on the floor before i got there, and i was so tired i just kind of laid down and slept (in it)

I ar the void :o

Some interesting stories of being sick. I've been sick in a plastic asda bag and then put it away the next day,been sick on a breakfast bar typing thing in a club and then walked away(i actually cant remember doing it but i was told),sick in the doorway to a respectable glasgow office block and sick on the floor at the back of the bus that i fell off the seat onto. :o

For all my offtopic crap i will add a pic of me once my mate sends it. High as a kite,crisp hanging out mouth with my eyes open. :D

1st ad only time i went to thorpe park on a trip, went into mac D's, friend told me that if i chugged a 2 ltr bottle of water he'd buy my lunch ;)

chugging completed i ate lunch, then threw up into a take out back ( we were still in the shop at this point), then put the bag in another bag, then having decided our best course of action was retreat we hastily made for the exit.

beofre we left i looked round to see a shocked cleaner look into, and then drop the bag on the floor, cue splatter sick EVERYWHERE :D

Result. :D

You actually just reminded me of when i whitied at the cinema. I made it to the corridor out of the screen....got to the bit with trays or something you are meant to use....was sick down the side of them and continued walking to the loo where i spent the best part of and hour and a half being sick/trying to stand up/acting as if i was auditioning for train spotting. :(

Im so used to being sick now that i dont mind it. :o

agreed, had a bad chest infection recently, and if youve had one you'll know it's worse when you just wake up, was coughing so hard on about 3 days during the illness that i threw up...totally un-phased...it's just one of those things now :o. you throw up, you fall asleep in it, you move on, and hope your family didnt see you half naked ¬_¬

It's been interesting to see all the photos of the many people of this great forum, some of you looked as I expected and many more of you looked nothing like I had imagined!

Having not posted a photo of myself in this thread since I first started it in 2005 I finally plucked up the courage to post one again, so here's where it all began;

One of the largest reasons for not posting anything of myself since then has to have been my twin problems of obesity and acne which probably grew out of each other but anyway, here's how I looked at the beginning of 2009;

Not a pretty sight I'm sure everyone (everyone!) would agree :(.

Around the tail end of November 2009 I realised I needed to do something major and do it quickly before it became a problem too big to overcome on my own, with that set in my mind I made efforts to re-jig my lifestyle, the food I ate and to a larger extend my sedentary lifestyle had to go, it was actually much less of a challenge than I had thought and here's how I looked a month or so ago;

I've lost around 80lbs and feel so much better for it. it just goes to show that, at least in my case, the problem was all in my head, I hope never (and indeed I'll do all I can to achieve this) to be above a natural weight for my height and build again.

That's some inspirational stuff right their and it's give me a kick up the backside.

What did you do to lose the weight? Obviously lowering your caloric intake and proper exercise is key, but were you at the gym every day?

Cheers

No problem.

I limited what I ate to 3 meals a day (and portion control), cut right down on the takeaways (maybe one a month instead of 2-3 a week), taking a packed lunch instead of my debit card and buying lunch whilst at work and I took up walking to work (3.5 miles a day). having a new, active job helped massively.
Obviously everything was in moderation, I lost a reasonable amount of weight over a long period of time, I didn't starve, but I did learn all about hunger :p.

I think the most important thing I did was not to punish myself, I wanted to do it and I wanted to succeed, sometimes you feel like giving in, when that happened I would have a smaller 'treat', a standard packet of crisps instead of a share sized bag or a chocolate bar instead of a bar of chocolate (absolutely never bought a multipack of anything unhealthy, an open pack is an empty one!), it's much easier to get back on the wagon when you aren't imagining you've wrecked all of your previous work.

Can I be rude and ask how much you were at your heaviest, vincent?

absolutely, I was about 260lbs.
