I merely remembered it from the Winehouse thread
and thought it funny considering what you're criticising Robbie G.
I don't remember being the only person wishing Pete Doherty to be the next to overdose in that thread!

Well, that's on top of it being funny considering your attitude to animal abuse.
I care about the welfare of animals how is that funny? I can't be the only person on this forum who respects animals!

that's on top of it being funny considering the ridiculous weapon you keep in the house (which will never come under "self defense", btw).
I couldn't care less what you or anyone else thinks about my comedy bat.

you go girl;)! *looks guiltily at hamburger with extra bacon in left hand*

With people like RobbieG is it any wonder I have such a jaded attitude? To be fair though I have only taken to disliking two or three posters here since joining, so can't be all bad.

who are the others?

Haha, well you've never posted, all over this forum, thinly veiled comments about how you'd gladly use it to hack up anyone who comes into your house!

Proper Samurai sword?

Yes a proper single edged Tamahagane Katana.

@Brian8bit, it cost a couple of thousand pounds, not tens of thousands of dollars. You are talking about authentic 15-17th century swords rather than traditionally made swords.

Traditionally made swords will cost tens of thousands of dollars. The ones at a couple thousand dollars are reproductions that don't always adhere to all the steps of traditionally made swords. Traditionally made swords will take into account all the steps of the process for the sake of the art, despite stuff like folding ultimately being pointless because of the better quality ingots they can start from. Then there's the fact that they might not even be of the proper steel.

Tamahagane swords are folded steel.

Tamahagane is the type of steel. It has nothing to do with the process of folding the steel which is carried out by the sword maker. It's high carbon content though, so a better steel for use in making swords compared to stainless which is only really good for making knives. And even then, if you want a good quality knife you're better off with a carbon steel one.

It's funny when juxtaposed with your attitude towards human life :|.

"Comedy bat" will be the least convincing defence in history, if anything ever happens! I sincerely hope you're never subjected to a break-in, for your sake and that of the robber :|.

To be honest, if any one break in to my house they get whats coming to them...Why the flying heckythump would you care about the robber?

Nout wrong with protecting animal life over human life, people prefer different things. Otherwise Vets and Docters would be one and the same :p

foreign exchange fail

You do realise swords can be paid for in pounds, yen, anything you like. Why the dollar preference and if so which dollar, Belize?
