Looked after him for 5 nights as it was cold and wet mother abandoned him in a soaking wet flooded part of the garden. His mum fed him during the day as i left him in the sun, the day after mother never came back and he passed away. He would've died that night but he lived an extra five, buried in my garden of roses. Used to stand on my little finger and chirp

I've saved numerous birdies from abandoning/dead mummy birds. Once got a whole nest (about 3/5, 2 chicks were already dead) and called them Brandy, Birdie and Mr Bird. Unfortunately they died too
Also my old kitty (RIP) used to bring me alive ones that I'd nurse back to health

First time i've been drunk in well over a year.
*Edit: in the interests of making it clear that im not trying to sound hardcore, i should mention that it's the first time ive had more than one beer in an evening in well over a year. 1 tika Puka Puka and 5 Coronas. It doesnt take much, but im a cheap date.
