Post count

It’s not measured. There’s no quantifiable statistics; however, as a ‘normal’ user and not one of the mod team, you obviously don’t see what happens; sign ups to the forum are vetted, to try to ensure real users are making these signups rather than bots. But some get through.

any we catch, we remove if they’ve slipped through the net.

MM requirements are strict and high for a reason to protect the MM users.

But since removing post count, has this changed?

It’s too early to say

So if it doesn't change anything, is there a possibility of this decision being reversed?

You’d have to ask the mods who deal with signups. I don’t. But it doesn’t affect you and your 26k post count. You’re already eligible for the MM.

I understand the rules to MM access. I'm just intrigued.

Why do people keep saying 'but it doesn't affect you' as they already meet MM requirements. This is completely irrelevant. Users can still have opinions on the matter no? These are discussion forums after all.

THE MODS HAVE SPOKEN
You can still post here., so how is it 'punishing you'? What does it matter if your posts in GD don't increase your post count?
I already gave a quick reason as to why post count can matter in some regards. Maybe I find the uptick cathartic? what does it matter to you?
