post error 69 - Turn on L2 cache

whats that in the manual? it could be ram im not sure

could be unsupported

you can also use ecc ram with that cpu/board

try and grab another brand of ram first,it will boot with one stick in any of the white slots,it wont if you try the blue, only if all slots are populated

L2 cache is part of the CPU and there won't be an option to turn it on or off in bios.

Checking for bent pins is a good call, as is checking your bios version is compatible with your CPU.

b8 - Intel Core i7 MRC Code - Memory - check above
68 - PM in
b9 Intel Core i7 MRC Code - Memory - check above

B8 and 68 would look the same on the read out so showing both but as 69 also would look like b9 i went and found that too and boom! B8 and B9 and the same, i think i have a ram error so i am off out in the car to test with a friends kingston blue 1600 9,9,9,24 1.65v it as to be supported.

i know the motherboard run fine with a 920 at 4.3 so if i get a none boot i know there is something wrong with ram.
