post error :\

in a bit of a hurry so in short doin a budget build for my mate and just using onboard graphics (asus p5g 41t m-lx) I am getting a post error of 1 long 2 short, a google search says that it is a video error but no solution any ideas guys ?? sorry if I forgot anything so just ask.

try leaving cmos/mb battery out for 30mins,then try,try with just one ram stick installed aswell

What CPU & ram?

So it's most likely:-

1. A power problem. Are both plugs connected to the motherboard?
2. A memory fault. Have you tried with one stick at a time, and both slots?
3. A short. Have you tested outside the case?

both plugs are definately connected properly, I have tryed one stick at a time in both slots and it wasnt posting atall until I tryed out of the case then I got this error and put everything back in the case and still getting error :S

tried my card in it and still no luck, really need some help here lol
