Post in here if you're a Red Dwarf fan

I liked Ouroboros. A lot. Mindblowing at the time.

Although I watched it again recently and I have to admit it is a very tenuously put together episode.

Lister is actually God to the cats and is destined to jump start the second big bang though.
 
Liking the series so far, annoyed me a bit when that computer program referred to her predictions as like predictive text, like a cell phone... how would they even know what a cell phone was?! they lost earth in the 80s?
I also don't like all the new tech around the ship including more flat screen monitors than your local TV store, it's meant to be a low tech junk ship!
 
Series 8 was significantly better than Series 7. The main reasons for me was the return of Rimmer and the return of the bunk scenes.

Series 7 was just too much changed at once. New Kochanski, no Rimmer, CGI, plus no Rob Grant and having other new writers involved. It had moments of proper Dwarf... but it was mainly just average.

I'm enjoying Series 10 though. It's not yet up the levels of classic series 3-6 Dwarf, it's better than Series 8, so it's heading in the right direction.

Oh yeah, the bit that annoyed me about his Fathers day card... I was expecting it to be from Jim or Bexley... Lister already had 2 sons before he discovered he was his own son. :D
 
It's rather good and enjoyable. The Back to Earth mini series was so bad I never watched it all.

Didn't Red Dwarf explode at the end of season 9? Spoils the continuity they are back on Red Dwarf. Although it was always best when they were alone on the ship (and not Starbug)

They also don't look as old and past it as they do in the poster. I would like to know how a robot can put on weight! ;)

Technically he was mother to those two remember the parrallel Universe Nonsense. Dave was the mum and as such became pregnant and Deb was the dad!
 
Oh dear, that bad was it? ....I will probably watch it tomorrow.

To be fair though, most seasons have an appalling episode imo- Parallel Universe in 2, Bodyswap in 3, Inquisitor in 5, Ouroboros in 7, Krytie TV in 8.

Wow, last nights episode was pretty appalling. I wasn't keen on it from the religious sarcasm bit but aside from that there wasn't anything that made me laugh or any other classic 'Red Dwarf moments'.

It was a bit 'Timeslides meets Tikka to Ride' (i.e. going back in time in Timeslides and Tikka to Ride in messing with history/teleporting). Also

Also scene with Lister eating meat is very Polymorph.

Is this the last series? I'm beginning to think they should stop now (and I'd class myself as a big fan) as they just seem to be recycling the same jokes.
 
Maybe I was watching something else; I found this week's episode to be the funniest of the series so far.
