4 was nothing special but just watched the fifth and loved it :D

Giant death worm, hand on my logo and cat putting the mental image in his head were good lol moments.
 
Im not enjoying this series as much as the previous ones, but its still watchable, and better than most of the crap that's on tv at the mo.
I think we need to give them time to get back into character as its been a long time.
 
I quite enjoyed that, wasn't a bad way to end the series, hopefully they won't leave it so long next time to do another series.
 
Series 10 has been good over all IMO. Darn sight better than Back to Earth, that's for sure. Can't match series 1-6, but that's no surprise as Grant left after series 6, and Naylor is not as good a writer. Not likely to happen, but they need to get a good writer and not have Naylor writing every episode. He is too hit and miss.

Back to earth has been stricken from the record. It is not, nor will it ever be recognised as Red Dwarf.
 
excellent episode - proper red dwarf, getting on for series 4/5/6 levels of good that last one

so series is finished now, I think they did a pretty decent job, seeing as
1. tiny budget
2. out of practice / not in the groove yet - the excellent 1-6 series was all in a row, they started all this dave stuff after a long time off

series wise I would say :
Episode 1. excellent
Episode 2. Good
Episode 3. filler episode
Episode 4. not bad
Episode 5. filler episode
Episode 6. excellent

hopefully if with the ratings, dvd sales etc Dave will make another series next year
if they can carry on from the quality of the better episodes and with a little more budget it will be awesome
 
Pretty good final episode. I thought they were going to fill us in on little details though, like 'Why is Lister trying to find Kochanski?' etc. I'd also hoped for something a little more grandiose with a title like 'The Beginning' - If that's the final episode ever than I am a little disappoint, need at least another series, need to at least see Dave jump start the second big bang and become God. :o

Most of the humour came from the simulants, that crazy salute and the guy disembowling himself. Nothing funnier than someone dying painfully.
