Post in here if you're a Red Dwarf fan

Yeah it was pretty good. Still suffers from the age old Red Dwarf problem of being full of jokes that don't appear to belong in Red Dwarf though.

I laughed when Rimmer attempted to answer the distress call!

Great episode and a nice return to normal red dwarf situations. I have tried to forget back to earth as much as possible. I'm not convinced that I laughed once in all three episodes.

Brilliant. Really enjoyed it. Although I do feel it should be shot in front of an audience, it makes all the difference.

Also; appreciate what you've got, because basically, I'm fantastic.

this did actually have its moments, i was presently surprised. went into it thinking it would be utter garbage due to back to earth and season 8. i do think 4,5,6 were the best. though saying that the first 2 seasons were brilliant. any way....

it was good, had a bit of its charms back. one of the best things about the original series i thought was that it always seemed a bit scrappy and low budget, sort of had that vibe a bit with his whirly eyes. i liked it

Wasn't expecting it to be any good after the last series. However I was happy to find I was wrong. It's early yet but that was better and far funnier the s7,8,9. Hope it keeps it going...

The first season is the best by far. The End being my favourite episode, I could watch that episode repeatedly and never get bored of it.

I really enjoyed the first episode last night. On the face of it they look to be back to the form they had around series 5.
Good stuff. I hope the standard is maintained!

So are they not 3 million years in to deep space anymore? Lister says he is the last man in the universe, but who awarded Rimmer's brother that medal?

I know Red Dwarf makes zero sense at the best of times, but we could have done with a bit of explanation.

It was still pretty good though. I laughed quite a few times.

Overall, very good indeed. Love the bunk scenes - it's what made Red Dwarf great.

Oh and... You scored 50 out of 50

No guessing involved either. They were all very easy questions. If they wanted to make it a challenge it'd be much more fun. ;)

......Come off it, you can't blame anyone for turning their brain off during BTE!:p

Without multiple choice I probably would have got 47 I think, as I probably wouldn't have remembered Rimmer's T-shirt in Polymorph, and possibly one about Parallel Universe, which is an episode I really hate.

I've only watched BtE twice. Once on Dave and the directors cut on bluray. Simple questions.

I watched Back to Earth for only the second time last night in preperation for the new series. Didn't think much of it the first time round but if you think of it less like a flat out comedy and more like a weird daydream that exists outside of the series it actually works quite well, and has a strange film-like quality about it. I'd agree that it's nowhere near as funny as even series 7 and 8, but I'd certainly say it was underrated.

I really enjoyed it last night. Quite a few LOL moments. I don't know why but it seems strange watching Red Dwarf in HD! :)

Can't wait for the next episode.

Watched it this morning after a long night shift and really enjoyed it, especially Rimmers description of finding Kryton :D
