Post in here if you're a Red Dwarf fan

Well, I have to say I was most impressed with season X episode 1 and definitely good to see them back to their best. I would say it was the best episode they have done since series 6 episode 4 (Emohawk: Polymorph II).

Loved the moose gag(s) and as has been mentioned the bit with Rimmer and the underprivileged really cracked me up.

Some classic Red Dwarf moments, updated nicely but not too farfetched from the time/storyline. Nice touch with Rimmer’s brother which has been a constant theme referenced through the entire Red Dwarf world both on screen and in the books.

Only (very minor) criticism would be I still find Kryten a little annoying with his ‘femanine high maintenance’ reactions to things but it is seriously toned down compared to seasons 7 and 8 where he was just a moany woman IMO, but he’s still my favourite character so I’ll let him off!

Danny John Jules was the star for me – back to his old ways with similar quality acting from the first series and the ‘Robbie Rocket Pants’ gag in Terrorform.
 
I liked it. I though it had some clever gags that weren't one liners, like the way the book on random facts tied into the moose joke and his exam. That's why I always enjoy Red Dwarf, because things at the beginning always had a habit of becoming jokes in the end.

The set was traditional but also updated, so felt good. I didn't really enjoy the super futuristic look from BTE, screw effects, just give me funny jokes.
"Was he swedish!" "It was a moose and might I add the moose wasn't driving" :D
 
I did like how they had a bit of "bunk" time, I always enjoyed them parts of the earlier series and I would like to see that regularly occuring. Fingers crossed! :D
 
It was funny.

Which is good, as Red Dwarf hadnt been funny for a long time.

"white Hole" and "Polymorph" are the best for me.
