I have been getting post addressed to a company that used to be at my address. How do I return it? Do I have to phone the company up? Or can I just write something on the envelope and shove it in the post box?

Thanks,

Jon

Put "Moved Away" or "not at this address" and either leave on your doorstep or pop into a postbox.
Seconded.

We bought our house just before Christmas and still get the previous owners mail. We just put a line though our address and write not at this address before popping it back into the postbox.

Double cross through address, write: "Not known at this address", walk to post box, post.

Return home, get a beer from fridge, open, sit down. Enjoy.
