Post-upgrade overclock advice q9550

Hi All,

I've recently upgraded my E6700 to a Q9550. Its currently running at its stock 2.83Ghz but I would like to overclock it. Any ideas on how far I may be able to push it with the spec from my signature?

At least 3.4GHz. If its an E0 stepping it will go beyond that easily with good temps also i would have thought. Best thing to do is check your idle and load temps with that zalman with everything at stock first. Download something like prime and core temp for this.

3.6 should be easy without much tinkering.

Depending on what ur mobo/memory can do anywhere from 3.4ghz - 4.2ghz on air should be no problem, but would be mobo dependant.
