Just curious to see what everyones C2D temps are. Set it up like the following:

1) grab Core temp
2) run orthos prime
3) get scared as your temps go bove 60c
4) if Core temp crashes, disable logging

Report back here once they settle, run it for 10 min, that should do. Write them like the following (these are mine):
____________________________________
X6800 - 320 x 11 = 3.52 GHz @ 1.45V
Cooler - Scythe Ninja Plus

core 0 = 69c
core 1 = 68c

E4300 Stock cooler @ 2520mhz

Idle: 30c
Loaded: 62c

64 is my self imposed limit, and I'll be grabbing a ninja or the like in the next few months so I'm happy

:)

e6600 - 402 x 9 = 3.6 GHz @ 1.51V - think lower actually
Watercooled via Aquaextreme MP-05, Thermochill Pa120.2 etc

core 0 = 44c
core 1 = 43c

It might be worth stating whether the IHS has been lapped or not surely?

Anyway, mine unlapped (both IHS and HSF)

E6600 with Tuniq on low @ 3006 mhz

Idle: 45c (With speedstep enabled and clocks down to 2ghz)
Loaded: 58c

Both temps are a bit too hot for my liking to be honest so I'm amazed at some of the lower temps with a Freezer 7 pro! Good work!

So no mention of what the ambient temperatures are? Or what motherboard and BIOS? Or what cooling method? Or noise level?

OK.

nope doesn't look like they want anything other than temps

Ambient Temps is fair enough but...

Core temp reads from the CPU itself not the motherboard so the mobo/bios doesn't matter.

People are mentioning what cooling method.

Most have said at 'low' etc. and are probably using the stock fan for their cooler if not.

Stock cooler

E4300 @ 300x9 1.325v

Orthos load: 65C
Idle: 37-39C
