Intel TAT, reads a couple of degrees higher than Gigabyte ETC.

I don't agree, with an e4300 I think Coretemp is way off when TAT is spot on?Hxc said:TAT is way off if you have an E4300 btw, Core Temp is far more accurate.
thats really goodarfur said:I'll post some screenies tonight but my new water kit is keeping my E6400 (def speed) at 21'C idle and 25'C under loadvery impressed with it, Mobo temp is 34'c
I would say it's your Intel mobo that's putting Core Temp off, not the E4300.Big.Wayne said:I don't agree, with an e4300 I think Coretemp is way off when TAT is spot on?

Well Coretemp got the temp right when I was using an e6300, as did MBM with the conroe plugin, in fact all of the apps gave me the same results (within 1°C/2°C), the only thing that has changed is the CPU.Kaiju said:I would say it's your Intel mobo that's putting Core Temp off, not the E4300.
Your evidence seems concrete and i'm not going to suggest otherwise as my previous post was purely suggestive anyway.Big.Wayne said:Well Coretemp got the temp right when I was using an e6300, as did MBM with the conroe plugin, in fact all of the apps gave me the same results (within 1°C/2°C), the only thing that has changed is the CPU.
From all the evidence in front of me I conclude that only TAT can read the temps of an e4300 correctly, what do u reckon?
I roughly get that load temp at 1.475v. Nothing to be worried about!Tom|Nbk said:Meh so my temps seem a little high im pretty sure my cpu is concave and i cba to do **** about it![]()
