This encountered the wife's MINI on the drive. Bit of a Gaydon family resemblance going on.

Dynamic 2.2 auto Coupe with Lux pack. Meridian premium sound, TV and pano roof.

That white XFR looks sublime, apart from the wheels. Whats with this style of wheel on many high performance cars coming out these days? Looks awful, like someone strapped a cheap plastic wheel trim on to their wheels.

Looks better in the flesh, but I agree, I don't really like them. Especially as the XFR wheels are so right!

I don't know what's worse here, the fact the new mini is almost as big as a Range Rover, or a Range Rover is almost as small as a mini!

Nope! I absolutely detest the 2 tone wheels, i've yet to see a car that looks good with them.
All personal taste of course.

Two tone wheels only work on a very small number of cars. The XF is not one of them. Thankfully you can specify different alloys when buying so it's not so bad but many just won't bother with such options because it might add a few hundred £.
