In person the f type is much wider and aggressive looking from the rear. I'd say wider stance than a xkrs.

Looking back at the pictures I see what you mean - I took the shots on my phone camera which was all I had with me at the time and the plate looked real enough with only two digits on it to me.

it's much clearer in the second photo than the first.

The photos are different sizes. Its just jpeg noise I think. On google images, any picture at different sizes can actually look better displayed at a smaller scale because of excessive artifacts
