Excuse the poor quality - but this was in the work car park today... I'd never even heard of this model

It's a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_968.

From the side/back it looks like the way more common 924/944, and from the front looks a bit like a 928

Bless you youngsters and your lack of classic knowledge :D good friend of mine had a brand new one in black, he traded in his 944 convertible, which I also loved. Awesome car from my youth

Dude has an Audi estate. Variance from the norm of aspiration escapes him :D

Fair shot, but I still don't see how that thing (and it was in yellow) is anything other than a pukefest

It does nothing well, adds no unique features, looks vile and costs a fortune. To me it's a toyota hummer, without the hummer marque (and hummer's are equally stupid/ugly :-P )

I had e46 remapped at evolve, very much an emperor's new clothes experience, when in reality there was zero difference to power, torque and any 0-xxx I threw at it...

Plus I still don't get the hype about their sound, I still think they sound average at best (CSL airbox aside), I migrated to an S4 and that (IMO) sounded infinitely better.

What gets your heart rate up @Diddums? Car wise I mean! Genuine question.

My son was in London car spotting this week, and saw his first Zonda after spending some time at Joe Macari, so he had a great day and saw some serious exotics.

He did his work experience last year at a car wrapping company, and the owner of the company said the same sort of thing you did. Supercars have become uninteresting to him, as he sees so many.

I, personally, don't feel that way (no matter how many of them I see, and how many shows I go to. I love the sight and sound of a supercar, and enjoy the pics members post on here.

I used to live and work in Mayfair so had the same problem, previously exotic marques wouldn't even register, sure a decent hyper car would still well and truly stop me in my steps but I found myself being way more interested in the Pimlico Plumbing vans and their latest and greatest number-plates.
