Back in the era when the power in turbo cars came in all at once and was scary AF in a RWD
I'd love to remap a modern car to be like that just for fun.
Lotus Carlton is nothing like that really. Quite linear in its delivery once on revs especially with the twin turbos. Turbo charged cars, especially some in the 90's are not that laggy. It is the boost threshold that is a problem on them as they are made to make power far higher up in the redline. Whilst most modern cars feel more peppy due to the much lower boost threshold they are all out of breath by 5500 revs.
