Worked at a house several years ago where the owner had a V8 Vantage, he said it broke down every 5 minutes and when it rained he got wet inside due to the bad panelling, every panel seemed to have varying gap sizes. Still amazing to look at though

For a kit car it looked pretty good by all accounts! Smaller than the cappuccino that was there and i bet its a hoot to drive!
im just not sold on the idea of running a mini front end backwards

It's not 'backwards' though, same orientation just mounted in the rear.

MG-F and Lotus Elise both effectively utilise a Metro front sub-frame mounted in the rear and there are no issues with those.

Its got to be something so expensive to fix the owner can't get it done but can't afford to sell it due to the losses of selling it non working or something?

By '18 its 3 years out of warranty...
