Looks like a De Tomaso Mangusta?
You don't see many Alfa Breras either. Apparently, only 1,800 registered in the UK and a further 570 SORN.

That website isn't particularly accurate or useful unfortunately.

Not sure what happened to Breras. It felt like there were loads around when they were new.

Me and a few mates did the Collecting Cars morning coffee event and Bicester and got parked in the centre of it all.

No idea who the bloke in orange shorts was, but I gave up waiting for him to **** off.

Yea he is involved with the business in some form.
My girlfriend was driving to Godalming today for some horse related nonsense. She phoned me to say she was convinced she'd just passed Chris Harris in his green beemer. She won't have been far from Dunsfold at the time so I thought it was possible he might have been knocking around there, but this confirms she was indeed talking bobbins :D

Edit: just seen the walk around video on the Collecting Cars Instagram. Your car pops up in the background. Looks like a pretty big event.

When we came in early there were 2 or 3 cars and Chris Harris. That was it. 30 minutes later boom. We ignored the asks from orange bibs to park in a field :D

Ooooh LC500. Forgot about those. The values seem to be holding compared to when I last looked. Great looking car but needs a decent colour to really stand out.

Had a couple of hours down at Knebworth with my 3 yo. It is Petrol Hedonism which is a weird old beast; it is mainly YouTube personalities and then a few car clubs thrown in. You can also show your own car IIRC.

The 3y/o stole my phone and these are two shots she genuinely took lol.

^ I recognised this from someone on the forum, but had no idea how much of a land yacht it is. The thing was outrageously long/wide.

^ this thing was being perpetually polished. If not the car, the mirrors underneath. Has to be the most pointless 5 series auto in the world, but it is spotless if that's your thing.

And the most epic spot of the day, which was actually the first photo - a Caddy with disco wheels! Loved it for some reason, lol.

This 'rat' C3 was actually epic. The attention to detail was immense. The bloke looked like a right nutter (in a good way). The seats were epic; unfortunately my 3/yo wouldn't let me have my phone back though. It is hard to understate how "good" it looked. The bike on the roof was an epic cycle chopper too.

Had absolutely no idea how much of a land yacht this thing was either. Absolutely epic proportions.

Had no idea these bonnets lifted like a clamshell either. Kinda obvious now I know. I retrofitted Brembos from one of these (or the Peugeot 406 Coupe)

^ something looked a bit off about this. It is obviously missing key Eleanor bits which may have upset my brain :D

The most outrageous wing I think I've ever seen in my life.

The second most outrageous wing I've seen in my life :D

A car similar to this was my wallpaper ages 14-16. I hadn't really seen one in the flesh (I'm not well travelled when it comes to car shows :D). Confirmed, absolute love at first sight.

This caught my eye too, despite being everything I hate on paper. Some of these "tuning" companies have really got their act together. It has definitely transcended the barry boys days.

It is quite fun to review the photos as I normally am pretty religious about not bothering. I was drawn to cars that clearly had a tonne of really high quality work done by the owner, whether I "liked" the cars was secondary. And of course my nostalgic favourites. Also, interiors -- the Karman Ghia, Morgan and Camaro were just out of this world.

Love the Vauxhall Calibra, not seen one of those for an age.
Haha yeah, one of the few cars I forgot to use inside voice and murmured "CALIBRA" slightly too loudly. I wonder if the insurance is still equal to the replacement cost of the car :D

There was a bunch of RS2000/Cosworths etc too but I didn't bother taking photos tbh. They are pretty common at most shows it seems.

Did not take many pictures of other cars on IOM, was spending far too much time enjoying unlimited speed roads, great fun on the smoother roads, not as much fun on some of the heavily undulated bumpy roads, had a track day at Jurby too which was fun:
