That plate used to be on an AC Schitzer E39 IIRC.
the escort is now so cheap the days of good looking cosworth replicas are long gone
anybody who wants an escort cossie can have one now, and the chavs who cant afford one cos they're too young are far more interested in their corsas etc.. than escorts now
That and all the escorts with cheap tacky imitation fibreglass bodykits have all long since rotted away.
THe one in the picture looks like a mint example. Theres somebody on pistonheads who'se got one with delivery miles (lux model) just sat in a barn ! Far too many of them are just collectors items now

I saw two KTM X-Bows heading south on the A43 by Oxford this morning, no pics I'm afraid as they weren't hanging about - and I was going the other way.
Looked amazing, I've never seen one before.

Yeah this one does look good, but it does need a clean too. The exhaust sticks out a bit too but did sound the part. I've seen it a couple of times now so he uses it at least!
I've only ever seen 3/4 and one was a good replica, the rest were at shows so seeing that (despite being an escort at the end of the day) is quite a special occasion really. I really do love the rally version they used to use. As a kid born in the 80's and "raised" in the 90's, they were quite the hot item when I was growing up.
