Saw this fail the other night and thought I'd share it.

I love the G37's - such a nice car IMO :)

yeh they really are! we rented a G35 the other year and i was amazed at how good a car it was, both interior quality and engine. but i guess the nissan v6 is no secret :p

now that they've brought infiniti to europe, it'll be interesting to see how they do. they should definitely take some sales away from lexus as the G37 is basically a 4 door 370z..

I know! Carbon ceramic :D

The funniest bit was my friend lost his balance whilst looking through the car window, fell back and kicked the car. You should have seen the Nissan reps face lol, genuine mistake.

Having a play with a purple Veyron on the west side last week would rank pretty high on the triangle experience :)

A Veyron at the Triangle? Seriously?

I'd rather be in your shoes than his, surely there's no real space on the west do let the veyron do what it does best. :/

I'm intrigued to know how one handled "real" roads such as those though?

Two sections on West where most cars can stretch their legs and add in higher exit speed leading onto them and you can get a pretty good idea of initial straight line speed. Obviously though the Veyron is so rapid that you'd need a lot more space for the top end stuff.

Picked up a copy of this months EVO this morning, GT-R vs Veyron in North Wales and it's the same purple one which is pretty cool. I can confirm the articles conclusion, if that helps :D

Very nice, I think it's a 500 TR, but really I'm not sure, there were so many Ferrari's that looked a lot like that, it's a '50s design though I can tell you that.

Excellent, a friend of mine accidentally dropped a can of Coke right next to a Ferrari Enzo at the Motor Show a few years back, it exploded Coke all over the Enzo :D

I reckon it's a replica.

It's the genuine article. The owner (& one of the main customers at this call I go to) has some pretty rare cars, including a rare porsche (cant remember the model as I saw it over 2 years ago)& a gull wing 2 door merc from the 50's. I was told the other two cars were genuine & the owner had a few bob tucked away to splash out on classic sports cars.

What's with all the markings on the Nürburgring track?

A common Ring Rumour is that each piece represents someone killed at that spot. That is the case with some of it, but is not the case with most of it.

The rest of it ranges from 'good luck' messages to people competing in races to people promoting their website or car-club.

Anyone painting graffiti on the track needs to be careful to do it well off the line as paint can be 'slippery when wet' (nothing to do with Bon Jovi! ;)
