I'm sorrry if I come across as 'anal' but that front plate on the Supra is tatty to the point it ruins the look, a clean legal plate with no screw holes would make it so much better (in my eyes). Bar that it looks very nice

:/

This belongs to the boss in the office next door. Rumour has it he upgrades every year. :o

It is a nice motor and sounds awesome. ;)

Though I did have a chuckle when we had heavy rain and where those parking bays are there are no drains and the water just builds up. Never saw him get back into it that day. :o

I think i'm going to have to pay a visit to the local Aston Martin dealer soon. Spied a stunning Vantage V12 last week and a DBS last night. I cant afford either but it would give me an excuse to goo look at the classic GT40 they also have :D I only have one ecounter recently that I was able to photo, sadly not an awesome super car but the result of a muppet driving around with the handbrake on. The heat was enough to melt the plastic hub cap to the wheel bots.

This is/was part of the rear brake disc.

It should live where the rather large gap is between the wheel and hub assembly. You can just about make out another chunk of metal that has jammed itself between the outside of the disc and inside of the wheel.

That's not part of a disc. ;)

That's a handbrake shoe minus the friction material, found in drum brakes and in some cases inside a rear disc too which acts as a drum for handbrakes.

Looking at that picture is is a shoe inside disc and the person has indeed managed to wear the shoe THROUGH the disc's drum section, which is impressive as they are normally very thick.

I will be honest im clueless as to what sort of set-up the vans run (56 Merc Sprinter). I do know that they have got a warning buzzer that sounds if you move off with the handbrake on, either it was broken or the driver is deaf. The smell was horrific. It was originally reported as "a rattle from the rear of the van, sounds like exhaust but isnt." One look at it was all that was needed to tell you what had borked itself.
