Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Then this was and still is in my mechanics place, an internet cookie to the first person to name it.

btw. it's a god awful car that no one in their right mind would keep going. (let alone pay the price it's insured for)

This one is stumping me a little but im guessing its based on a triumph because of the wire wheels and its dashboard... Is it a Bond Equipe of some kind?

Found this in Edinburgh yesterday

I know the name of this but I've forgotten and it's annoying me

It's not an Excalibur, but it's something that was built in the 1980s..
If the OP's got a high-res picture, you can see what it says on the bonnet..

Not sure he has, But I've had the chance twice at bedford and he is kind right lol

Just confuses me because it goes against almost all the reviews i've read of the new xkr. Granted its not going to be a completely track focused coupe but by the sounds of it its hardly boat like, and belies it size.

tbh it was more lack of steering feel I didn't like. steering just too light, Gear changes too slow (paddle change) I guess it didn't totally feel it's size but you are aware it ain't small.

They sold all the XKR's at palmer and replaced them for M3's, Pretty much every one I talked to both times I drove them didn't enjoy them as much as anything else on the day, Kinda felt they were being used to advertise the car and sell them not for their track ability.

Saw a Zonda S in Stockbridge early on, but I was parked up in off road next to pizzahut so didn't have a chance to snap it.

Looks menacing compared to everything else scooting passed!

Didn't hear very much though.

Since no one has guessed, it's a Gilbern Invader, an attempt from the Welsh at building a car.
The chassis looks like it's made from angle iron and the body work is all fibre glass.

I seen the Alfa Romeo that Jeremy Clarkson bought for the Top Gear Alfa challenge on the back of a trailer yesterday up here. Couldn't get a picture as I was driving the opposite way.

I've never wanted to steal a car so much :D
He left it running with his grandson (i assume?) whilst he walked off and started dealing out loads of cash to some workers at a show i was working on the weekend...

Had a similar scenario the other day, I WISH I GOT PICTURES but the GF was too embarrassed when I got the camera out :p Anyway, saw quite a new Merc fully de-bagged with the Bentley 'B' all over it instead, including wheels. Driven by quite a young blonde and her man.

It was made even more hilarious by them noticing we had clocked on and were laughing. The chap had a face palm moment and rightly so.

are you sure it wasn't a brabus edition merc? They have all of the mercedes badges replaced with a B (including the wheels) that could be mistaken for a bentley logo... whoops! :p

Aye, I saw a Brabus Merc the other day. Was torn about whether it was worth a pic, but when I looked up the model it turned out to be a mid range diesel, so it's a good job I didn't take a pic or I'd never be allowed to post here again!
