Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Very rarely will I get my phone out to take pictures at work (Firstly because It's a bit sad and secondly because I'm not supposed to) but yesterday and today I made an expection

This yesterday.

Difficult to to top? Not really

One of my favourite cars of all time and I haven't seen one up close and personal since I was about 5. Forgot to take a picture of the engine bay but it was a work of art .

What I never realized that it was so small in person. It was later parked next to a new Audi A3 and that made the F40 look tiny in compassion.

Small? They are almost 2m wide! Wider than a Mondeo and almost as long! They are quite low though, I suppose.

I'd blank out the plates in that case.

I thought about it, but then I thought: "Hmm, Pictures of A F40 and Enzo in a workshop surrounded by Audis, taken by a poster called 'Joshy', who lives in London.". It wouldn't be too difficult for my managers to work out who posted them so I didn't bother :),

Forgive my ignorance... but in a Bentley dealers I was expecting a tad more Bentleys and a few less Audis and Ferraris .

We've moved site and now premises with a Audi service centre. We're a separate firm, but we're not (Our Locker room and toilet is through their workshop, we share the MOT ramp, 4 wheel alignment ramp, tea room, help each other when we are needed, etc).

Those pictures where taken in the Audi storage area which (as you'd expect) is full of audis.

The Joe Macari service centre is around the corner from our workshop so we get all of their mots in. I'm glad, there have been some very nice cars passes through our doors. A GT40, V8 MK1 Escort, MC12, 250 GTO and a couple of other enzos to mention a few, plus all of the modern (F430, F360, 612, etc) ferraris you can droll over.

I'll get a picture of our storage yard tomorrow. You can't move for the amount of Bentleys there, quite literally :).

I loved it. I've heard of people moaning about it looking like a massive piece of plastic in the flesh, the paint being thin enough to see the carbon fibre weave, odd panel gaps and a whole lot of other imperfections, but when its there you are too busy trying to retrieve your jaw from the jaw to notice :)

Only 500 were made (and some time ago too), so quite rare. There used to be one near me for a few months but it has gone. I was thinking of getting one (had the standard 1.7 before) but the power is quite low and expensive to increase it any decent amount.

Is that the same Enzo as I posted? Wheels looks similar, although I don't know how rare the wheels are.
