Post your firefox "top section"

A: It's glassing FF in fullscreen or not
B: Unless you're on a small monitor there's no need to fullscreen a browser window since no decent website spans content wider than 1024 pixels max (800pixels average).

This website will span as wide as you have your browser, so it means you don't have to scroll as much to read posts.

Yep this website will as it follows one design style, the majority of other websites though don't do this!

Browsing fullscreen can blind me at times, god damn bright websites. (on a 24", it was a NIGHTMARE when I used a 37")

Have to make the window smaller. :p

Turn your brightness down :p
Should be 120cd/m2 for optimum brightness which is equivelant to standard daylight light levels so never too bright or too dark

Most people's screens I have calibrated or tested are at least double that and beyond which is scary!

Pretty boring.

Cool, how do you do that? I'd be interested to know as I would then scrap the google bar.

Why not do what I do? Set home page to Google UK and install new tab home page. When you want to search, press control T and up it pops with the cursor ready in the search box. No mouse clicks.

When i used windows i only used to use FF, didn't like IE at all, since moving to OS X FF felt different so only use Safari hence it looking like its just been installed with a couple of bookmarks.
FF is still handy to have as a backup when pages don't display correctly in Safari and would still use it on windows.

Enough rambling here's mine
