Q*bert for the proverbial win.
To think - in 20 years time my kids will be posting in a thread like this about their first console being an Xbox, PS2, Wii and PS3 all bundled under the TV.
Kids these days have it too good. i remember having a huge list of chores todo before gettting my ration of computer time, and then having to fight my brother over which game we would play, then another fight over who would go first.
My neices and nephews have multiple consoles...... Maybe its because they parents want them as well these days, dont think my parents ever touched our amstrad CPC464, they deffo never touched the acorn atom.

SNES, with some rubbish game called "First Samurai". Still remember buying it with my dad, couldn't wait to get home and play. Soon after got loads of great games, all the classics 
Still my fave console tbh... memories of playing zelda alttp and being amazed at the size of Hyrule and how big the game was, playing SF2 and getting blisters trying to mash out dragon punches... good times

I dunno why, but it irks me so bad when people call it Alex the kid lol.
In other news... my first was an Atari 2600, the pointy looking one.
