at the end of the day a fish is a fish and everyone of them should be treated with the care and respect from a 1oz gudgeon to a 50lb carp. 3lb carp to some people including myself is a nice fish.

I've not been fishing for ages, need to start up again.

I think the biggest I've caught was a 12LB common. It was at a lake near me which is way too over-fished so most of the fish have deformed mouths because the people who fish there use stupidly heavy line and massive hooks. :(

I am afraid I cannot walk for more than about 20m at the moment and as such unable to stalk you, should be better in a week or so you will be pleased to know!!!

Anyway back OT.
I haven't been fishing in ages, i'd love to go again but i work all weekend now and don't have the time :(

My dad's off fishing tomorrow, might ask him to take me during the summer hols
 
My dad took a big barble today (and had 4 others on) and a couple of pike among others.

I've kinda gone off fishing. I'll pick it back up in a few years I think.
