Post your routine

i almost walked straight back out of the gym this morning, when i realised that i didnt have any headphones. 40 mins of cardio with no music or tv is a killer, its horrid with music, its suicidal without :/

Whilst it sounds impressive part of that was easing myself back into it, I probably wasn't pushing myself hard enough before. Now that I'm going with a friend, I'm putting that extra 10% in that I wasn't before. Also a few of the lifts (eg deadlifts) I was new to, so didn't want to push myself too hard and injure myself before I was comfortable with my form and the weight.

Tell me about it. Just trying to source a smallish, cheap flatscreen for the garage gym i've been putting together so i can watch MTV/Sky Sports whilst working out!

Whilst doing cardio I hope, not watching TV whilst doing your weight routine

I just cannot do cardio, I've tried but don't think I've ever managed more than 2 sessions in a row. Just too dangerous for me... might hurt myself falling asleep! :D

Playing sports like football, badminton and squash are the only cardio I get. That's until I started the HIIT just recently, 10 mins all out effort, suits me perfectly

Aye, just cardio, turn the iPod on for weights as MTV can get a bit distracting with all the female forms on show! :)

Agreed! I Don't even have a stereo in the gym at the moment, but as soon as I walk in the door I'm focused on one thing so it does not bother me.
