Posting this so that in a few weeks (hopefully) i can laugh at it as my FTTC cab finally comes online.

Correct, ours is also relatively slow compared to some JANET connections. I've seen our upload speed much higher than that so not sure if our network team are tinkering (again) or we haven't paid the bill this month :D

Stuff comes down pretty quick, but it depends on latency and the speed of the server, NZB downloads the files very quickly (800-900Mbps) but my PC takes longer to re-assemble and repair the files lol.

Steam is good too, anything less than 10GB installs in less than 5 minutes most of the time,

Thats nice, I find Steam has really good DL speeds when.
 
At my dad's work, brand new BT got whacked in yesterday;



Home is imo worse, we get 100 down 5 up :confused: VM at home, will post later
