Prompted by Clairvoyants thread, Thought i'd provide somewhere for discussion on SSD life. You can get the values from Intels SSD Toolbox, CrystalDiskInfo, or for Indilinx drives, the Indilinx SSD Status tool (google it)

I'm a bit worried here, Can't see what my Intels are at as they are in RAID now, but from what I can last remember they were around 98% after 1TB writes.

OCZ Solid 2, Win 7, no unusual apps.

My Intel X25-M 160GB

Intel SSD Toolbox:

Too lazy to take a screenshot and host it.
Samsung 64GB SSD
Power On Hours 2938
Health 98%

On another note on Crystal Disk Info one of my WD HDD's is saying "Caution" and has "reallocated sectors count" highlighted. Interested to know what this means?

And lol @ times of my other drives being active.
d:\13,494hrs
e:\11,271hrs
f:\11,404hrs
g:\7838hrs

Samsung MMCRE64G5MPP-0VA, Firmware VAM0501Q, Windows XP.

When I first got this drive May 2009 I applied tweaks to reduce write wear, but got fed up and put it in away. So it had a few months of inactivity.

Mid to late 2009 I stuck it in parents Windows XP laptop with disabling defrag and pagefile being only tweaks.

Performance has bombed, but it’s silent and cool, and still quicker to boot up than the Hitachi Travelstar from 2006 it replaced.

5 drives? :o

i bow down in the presence of your massive pRon collection :p

Only using 4 of them atm, waiting on a new TB hard drive (to make it 4x1) to arrive from OcUK but it has been lost by the royal mail, so have to wait another 7 days before we can proceed..

No not much of it, there is streaming for that
