All prescription, glazed, and polarized. Lovely jubbly :).

Who pays more than a tener on sunglasses? How do you stop losing/ sitting on them?

Bought a few ranging from £1 to £5 over the course of few holidays, they always break. Think this time il invest into something decent.

One thing I've learnt since being with my girlfriend is that frames are only so important. The quality of the lens that you get from the more expensive manufacturers is so much higher.

Madison D'Arcs Compact

not very stylish but very dependable, can't even break the damm things

oh and interchangeable lenses :)

Nope. A lot of the oakley's are far too busy and plasticky for me.

you obviously have no idea of quality.

an example of my x-metal specs:-

X METAL XX Sunglasses

Explosive compounds are vaporized at 3600°F to produce the latest addition to the ranks of X METAL®. We matched the hammer earstems of ROMEO® sunglasses with the contours of JULIET® and amplified the orbitals, enhancing coverage for larger facial sizes. Adaptable architecture and XYZ OPTICS® are defining features for the only 3-D sculptured, hypoallergenic, all-metal frames on earth.

X METAL XX features Oakley HYDROPHOBIC™, a permanent lens coating that prevents rain and sweat from building up on the lens. It also repels skin oils and other contaminates, so the lens is smudge resistant and easy to keep clean. It even eliminates static electricity, so dirt and dust particles won’t cling.
  • Ultra hi-strength X METAL® Titanium frame material
  • 8.75 base lens technology with HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS&Reg; (HDO&Reg)
  • HYDROPHOBIC™ lens coating
  • UNOBTAINIUM® earsocks and nose pads for increased comfort and performance
  • Available with Oakley Authentic Prescription Lenses (+2.00 to -4.00 with cylinder up to -3.00)

Oakley Square Wire 2.0 in X-Metal and Fire Iridium. Bought them whilst I was in the US for $175.00 when the exchange rate was $2/£1. At the time they were retailing at £175.00 in the UK. :D

However, thinking of selling them and buying a pair of Splinter's in Ice Iridium. A little less shouty than the Fire Iridium in my opinion.
