Post Your Vista SideBars!

I'm running;

Empty space, black glass cpu, netowrk ultization and the note pad thing.

I used to use the auto wallpaper changer too. All from the offical site.

Like so.

I use 24 Clock, Multimonitor thing, Hard Drive monitor, Network monitor. And I add the notes thing when I need to remember something.

I got them all from the official place and run them off the sidebar, like this.

and that's just Live messenger in the middle.

My sidebar, an excellent and useful feature to Vista :)

Digital Clock, Calendar, WeatherBug, Multi Meter (Dual Core) v1.20, DriveInfo,

All found here http://gallery.live.com/results.aspx?l=1&ti=2&st=5

I dont know, people these day cant seem to tell the time without a digital clock, what is the world coming to? I have: The nice normal clock with hands (silver one) Calendar, Weather thingy, slideshow viewer, Rss feeds for BBC news and uptime all obtained via the Gadgets homepage or within Vista.

Is there anyway of turning off that dark edge the sidebar has to it? It doesn't look that great with certain desktop wallpapers. I know you can hide the sidebar and just have the gadgets but if you go into a game that uses a different resolution you have to rearrange your gadgets when you return to the desktop.

Here's mine...nothing to special!

Some people can't tell the time easily/quickly. Just like some people can't do left from right quickly. (by quickly I mean without thinking about it).

sorry to butt in, (i have no sidebar pics to show) but wondered if anyone knew of any gadgets that show your system and CPU temperatures?

My sidebar has the clock, picture viewer, news, weather, and cpu usage.

So having a digital clock implies you can’t tell the time?

I heard that they do exist, but just take the readings from 3rd party apps, no idea where to get them either. :p

More to do with the analogue clock looking ugly on a nice digital desktop.

Nail and head!!!

On another note I thought those drive space gadgets had memory leak issues? Have they been sorted?

I'm at work at the mo but I have time (DIGITAL) weather in local area dual core and memory stats and thats it!! I think their a gimmick yeah.....but everyone loves a gimmick of same shape or short!!

whilst i don't mind the concept of the sidebar, none of the widgets have enough options to tweak. even the simplest of things like editing the text labels you can't do. they have a long way to go before i'll start using them. :)

What is a digital desktop?

All my sidebar items appear to have an analogue appearance.

Edit the CSS/HTML/Java yourself then. :p
