I have been tasked with designing some posters for a performance of King Lear.

I put together some posters yesterday with the few assets I had, which wer just a few random head shots of some people in the show.

The girls headshots in the second PDF need more work.

As a general look and feel what do people think?

Thanks

Gawd, the first one by a country mile.

The second one reeks of over-egging a [rather zombie-esque] pudding; the ladies' faces add nothing to the poster but ink, and detract from what is otherwise a strong, eye-catching image. Your only excuse for using this one is if you're in with a shout with at least one of the ladysubjects... in which case go for it :D

Very good job from what appear to be decidedly limited assets :)

I like the first ones picture with the second ones text. The text is much more readable at a glance on the second one.
