Gotta get myself a black and white cat soon!. If you remember I had to have a pre employment medical check, which caused a right fart on because they said i missed the appointment..

Well i chased them up, now the medical place say I dont need to have one, And all I gotta do is have a criminal check done then I should get my start date :D

Is this the one that said you had an appointment but you didn't show or something. I remember reading about it about a week ago.

If so then well done mate, really glad you got sorted. If its not you then dont tell that person cos they were well lets say Not Amused ;)

Thanks for the messages guys. Im pretty chuffed :), I got on their case after the medical messing about malarky. I mean, im not in the uniform yet, but the girl from RM said that once the crime check is done then I will get a start date :)

How did you start going after a job as a postie and what are the earnings?

Hey mate, the job was advertised on the job centre website at the time, but then all the process is done from the Royal Mail website.

Its been a pretty long process from start to this stage, wage starts at £7.70ph if i remember correct, and goes up after a few months.

I think im only starting on part time which is 25hrs a week. Well i think that was what was advertised at the time lol. They said that overtime is on nearly all the time. So i should be looking at 30 minimum. But obviously grounds to get full time etc.

I like the idea of Early starts and finishing early afternoon. Allows me to consider the possibility of going self employed aswell so I can carry out plumbing jobs on my afternoons if I feel the need (although i dont really enjoy my trade lol)
