Lately i've been experience aches/back pain which i'm pretty sure is down to my poor posture - hours of slumped in a chair at work and then I come home and i'm slouched in front of the tele or hunched over my decks.

I try and hit the gym a few times a week which I find helps but would a posture corrector be beneficial alongside? I've had a quick look online and there seems to be loads of different types?

Thanks. :)

Sit up? :p

You might find it help, things like lumbar pads etc.

Rolling your hips fowards will help to put your spine into a good allignment and also helps to open your chest by allowing your shoulders to drop back. You can try this now with whatever you're sitting on.

Might be worth a trip to your GP/Osteopath to make sure you're set properly and isn't anything more serious.

theres a ebook floating about (used to be on mininova) that you could do many different posture excersizes most are holding certain positions for a set time but they really do help loads,

im a office worker an i know full well of the chair/desk slump i can gain about a 6" in height from slumping to sitting up straight

I think this is the correct one for you, it could keep your back straight & relieve lumbar pain while seated :)
