Potatos

Hi all

Just looking for ideas on serving potatoes.
My partner is very fussy when it comes to food so it does make things difficult sometimes come dinner time.
She mainly likes roast potatoes or chips, she doesn't like jacket potatoe, boiled potatoes, mash potatoe, new potatoes or sweet potatoes. She hasn't tried dauphinoise potatoes so not sure about those.

I'm going to have a nice harvest soon so would like to get some ideas so we can enjoy them.

We used to get Kerr's pinks years ago, quick a dry flaky potato if you can find them.

I know you said she doesn't like mash but these are glorious as they get all crispy. Like the top of a cottage pie!

You could make fun Mr Potato Head things. I have used a potato as a pipe in the past.

Dauphinoise potatoes are amazing. No way anyone doesn't like them.

How about some potato combos like Spanish omelette or cottage pie.

Sauteed potatoes are nice as well, either slices or new potatoes that are parboiled then sauteed.

Do variations on roast and chips.
Parboil, drain, toss in olive oil and bake with different flavourings
Indian curry spices
Mexican type spices, Chilli cumin etc
Herbs and garlic
Or bake them plain, then glaze in marmite or bovril let down with a touch of water.

Make mash and then fry it for that lovely browned and crispy texture.
